TimTheTatman explains why he wont be switching back to Warzone with Verdansk

Streaming star Tim ‘TimTheTatman’ Bethar has explained why he doesn’t plan on switching back to Call of Duty: Warzone once Verdansk returns. 

Over the past few years, as interest in Warzone has taken a bit of a downturn, Call of Duty fans have been begging for a return to the days old – playing on Verdansk, driving around in Big Bertha trucks, and shooting the Grau. 

Verdansk’s return was leaked during the Modern Warfare 3 cycle, with many hopeful that it would return as soon as Black Ops 6 took over. That hasn’t been the case, though, and it’ll come back in Season 3.

Plenty of content creators and players who’ve moved away from COD since have stated that they will be returning to coincide with Verdansk being back. However, TimTheTatman isn’t joining them, at least full-time.

TimTheTatman isn’t excited for Verdansk at all

The streaming star, who had plenty of highlights – and lowlights – when Verdansk ruled the day is quite happy sticking with Marvel Rivals. 

“Will I go back and play Verdansk? I probably will. But, I don’t see myself going back for more than a stream or two right now,” he told viewers during his February 27 stream. 

“Because, right now, I have Marvel Rivals. I have a brand new game, that is trending, with very good updates, constant updates already and it is being done well. This is really good (Marvel Rivals) and this is bad (Warzone).”

Tim added that he wants Call of Duty to be “dope” but he isn’t “that excited” for the old map’s long-awaited return.

“I’m not that excited for Verdansk to come back, I’m more excited for Marvel,” he added. “I’m streaming Marvel Rivals for 12-14 hours like it’s nothing, I’m just going. I guarantee I can’t play 10 hours of Verdansk in one day. I mean, hell, even 4-5 hours.”

Verdansk will bring back a number of classic Modern Warfare weapons, and there have also been leaks about the infamous Roze skin. So, things could be interesting.
