CS:GO stats arrive to HLTV.org

Many have wondered, and some maybe doubted, whether HLTV.org will be able to provide statistics for Counter Strike: Global Offensive. Today we are finally ready to put an end to all doubts and present our first stats from a CS:GO match.
Our CS 1.6 statistics database counts over 12,000 matches and has over 7,000 players in it, and it proved to be a big addition to our regular coverage over the last few years.
With the professional scene's move to CS:GO, and since our website plans to continue with the best Counter Strike coverage out there, we have of course been working on re-introducing our stats system for the new game.
The match that will kick-start our latest update is the final of ESL's Go4CS:GO Cup #6 that took place 10 days ago, in which Swedish superstars Ninjas in Pyjamas demolished former Danish CS:S players under the name PRiME (16-3 on de_inferno_se and 16-1 on de_mirage_csgo).
Here are the overall stats from that clash:
K - D | +/- | ADR | Rating 1.0 | |
---|---|---|---|---|
![]() | 45 - 14 | +31 | - | 2.03 |
![]() | 37 - 12 | +25 | - | 1.77 |
![]() | 41 - 19 | +22 | - | 1.66 |
![]() | 27 - 20 | +7 | - | 1.25 |
![]() | 24 - 15 | +9 | - | 1.11 |
K - D | +/- | ADR | Rating 1.0 | |
---|---|---|---|---|
![]() | 15 - 33 | -18 | - | 0.59 |
![]() | 19 - 35 | -16 | - | 0.58 |
![]() | 16 - 34 | -18 | - | 0.46 |
![]() | 15 - 36 | -21 | - | 0.40 |
![]() | 14 - 36 | -22 | - | 0.36 |
The obvious first impression is that CS 1.6 madfragger who topped the charts for years, Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund, had no trouble adapting to CS:GO so far and will likely continue where he left off in the previous game.
For separate stats from both maps, you can find de_inferno_se here and de_mirage_csgo here.
Since CS:GO still doesn't have anything like HLTV demos, and we are unable to get logs from POV demos as of yet, our only source of match statistics at the beginning will be server logs. However, that is not unfamiliar territory for us, as even though more than 90% of our CS 1.6 statistics were parsed from HLTV or POV demos, back in 2009 we started out with server logs as well.
The downside is that server logs are much harder to come by than demos, especially for online leagues and cups that are played on various servers, so we will not be able to have much control over what tournaments we can fully cover.
Getting logs from LAN tournaments should be easier and we expect that we will be able to provide statistics for every major upcoming CS:GO LAN, provided that we establish cooperation with the organizers on time. The first occasion where you can expect complete tournament statistics should be already from DreamHack Valencia!
Therefore, keep your browser on HLTV.org in the next days and expect complete statistics from the Spanish event, as well as in-depth analysis of the top players.
